obama!!!!

it's totally a historic night. barack obama is president. he's giving his speech right now. when they announced that he was going to be the president i just stood there and shed a tear. i remembered a point during 911 when my friend, chris, took me up to our rooftop to watch buildings smolder and smoke. he looked and me and said very clearly, ' everything in the world just changed, nicole.' i felt that feeling again tonight. but this time it was filled with so much hope. everything did just change. and god, i hope it means that the change will really bring things together.
